The PUR Cajon Manufaktur was established in 2012 and is located in an 18th century manor house in Salzburg-Austria. After gaining experience in the building process of Cajons the two brothers realized that building Cajons in a mass production does not reflect on their philosophy to build highly qualitative and innovative Cajons in a sustainable production process. In order to put their philosophy into practice they established the PUR Cajon Manufaktur.

All Pure Cajons are hand-made 100% in Austria with great passion and attention to detail. All of our wood types and veneers come from sustainable cultivation - our certificates guarantee this. Every edge, every corner, every surface of a PUR Cajon is hand-worked and sanded to create perfect curves and soft surfaces. All it takes is a soft hit on the playing surface to create a full and rich sound. The separation of bass and snare THE characteristic of a real PUR-Cajon. In order to have the necessary support on every surface, all PUR cajons stand on sturdy and non-slip rubber feet. All PUR-Cajons are subjected to an exact quality control and are rehearsed to guarantee the typical PUR sound.
