Today we know that every musician and artist has his/her own musical and sonic needs and preferences. In recent years, constructive feedback and intense collaboration with professional percussionists has created a cajon that offers a hitherto unknown variation in sound - the Cajon Stage DS.
DS (Double Snare) stands for two independent snare mechanics - each mechanism can be adjusted to personal taste and separately switched on or off. This allows a variety of sound variations. As an example, would you like a superior snare sound? Simply increase the intensity of the snare sound and switch on the two tuners. Better the opposite, so no snare sound (Peruano)? Just switch off both mechanics, done! Factory-set Clap Corner give the rhythm more sound options. The rear of the StageDS is bolted and is specially crafted to produce balanced sounds similar to Konga-Bongo.
In addition, the Stage DS has a built-in Neutrik XLR connector. Whether on stage, in the studio or in your own home - just plug in your favorite microphone and off you go.
The Stage DS is made for studio and stage. Equipped with two separate Snare-Systems this model offers the widest spectrum of snare sounds compared to our other Cajons. Both Snare-Systems can be tuned and switched ON or OFF separately. The backside construction offers the typical conga-bongo-like sound. The Stage DS has an integrated Neutrik XLR-Plug, commonly used on stage or in recording studios - simply connect a microphone of your choice. We recommend our microphone CBM-1 for the best sound results. Factory aligned Clap-Corners compliment your rhythm with additional variety.
