Pre-shaved Goatskin
We offer thin, semithick to thick goatskins that allows traditional membraphones a deep, warm sound (tone) and bright, dry slaps.

Unlike thin skins, semithick and thick skins tend to cut out interfering sound vibrations and their lifespan is generally longer. Carefully selected by our collaborators and directly shipped to us from Mali, these products also are checked and sorted out on their arrival.

21 to 28” in diameter, the pieces are cleaned and pre-shaved (manually) for your comfort and to make save some precious time

We mostly have thin and thin and semithick, pre-shaved goatskins available. Thick skins are less often in stock.
