African in origin, Agogó is a percussion as well as a melodic instrument which was developped in Latin America and is played mainly in. It consists of a 2- to 4-bell set that one hits with a wooden or metal stick, producing as many different notes.

The small  Agogó is very light, quite suitable for children and therefore an ideal product for schools or leisure organisations.
This model IS NOT delivered with a wooden stick.

NB: Agogós are delicate instruments in that they are welded on a thin surface in order to keep the join from distorting its sound. Therefore, the bell should be hit sideways to restrict vibrations.
