Originally African, Agogó is a percussion as well as a melodic instrument which was developped in Latin America and is played mainly in Brazil. It consists of a 2- to 4-bell set that one hits with a wooden or metal stick, producing as many different notes. Agogo means bell in yoruba (Nigeria).

This model is a painted metal Agogó( 2-bell set), delivered with its wooden stick.

NB: To make the best of their excellent sound quality, Contemporãnea Agogó bells should be struck not-too-hard, on its upper side.

The bell is painted grey when it is metal on the picture.there is a strange sound, it whistles on the bottom bell.maybe once well beaten in rehearsal it will ring correctly for June 21. (Translated review)

Nothing to say about the product itself which is very good with a beautiful sound, but on the invoice attached to the package it was written "Agogo + stick". So, the 2 stars less (Translated review)
