Maica Brandão, the author happens to be Brazilian and her intention is to explore her original country’s extremely rich repertoire of beautiful nursery rhymes; in other words, to make western children enjoy the songs she, as a little girl, used to listened to.
This method is stuffed with round dances, musical games and other captivating activities designed to help children in building their physical consciousness and independence progressively, understanding, for example, the importance of rhythm in the acquisition of balance etc.
