Mamady Keïta comes back with this new opus of the serie : "Les rythmes du Mandeng" (Mandinka rhythms) called Solos, Breaks and Technics n°1. In this DVD the guinean djembefola, from the National Ballet Djoliba of Guinea, primary student of Famoudou Konate, teaches us the traditional technics of play, livened up by his own spice.

No less than 10 rythms are presented in their pure form, then with the breaks and variations. All the instruments are well filmed which permits to reproduce them "easily". This method is made for confirmed players...

Four bonus movies are proposed too. These are documentaries mixing interviews with pictures and sound coming from the country. Guaranteed emotion!
