The Kestrel Flute in the key of "D" minor is made from domestic, renewable cedar wood. It is sealed with non-toxic oils, giving it a clear, bright voice.

It is the highest key of "D" flute we make and is a good accompaniment flute for the Condor Bass "D" flute. The key of "D" is the primary key for Penny Whistles, making this flute a very versatile instrument for playing various music styles.

Its compact size makes it an ideal travel or hiking flute.

It is 15" long.

This is a 6-hole flute, we cover the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute.
