This good-quality, standard Kess kess are hand-made in Asia. Very simple, made from fruits, it is particularly easy to carry and can be included into a wide variety of percussion styles.

2 different cord lengths are available according to your hand size.

The playing principle is based on a good coordination of arm/hand movements (each hand holding a pair of pods) to progressively increase the number of rhythmic combinations and explore the richness of this –only-seemingly basic instrument.

12cm (Big hand size) : KESS1A

Barely enough time to know how to play it properly that the product breaks. I oiled it after each use, and in 3 days (3h of play cumulated?) the product cracked, one day later it got a hole and the beads fell everywhere in the room. Too bad because it is an exciting instrument. (Translated review)
